Our mission
We believe the most valuable trades — institutional OTC blocks, cross-asset RWA settlement, agent-to-agent swaps — deserve an exchange that does not leak information. Traditional orderbook DEXs expose every intent to the world: front-runners, sandwich bots, and MEV searchers extract value that should belong to the counterparties.
Hashlock Markets replaces the public orderbook with a sealed-bid intent protocol. Counterparties submit private bids, the protocol selects the best match, and settlement is atomic via HTLCs — both legs complete or neither does. The result: best execution with zero slippage, zero front-running, and non-custodial guarantees across Ethereum, Bitcoin, and SUI.
The name — a note on “hashlock”
Hashlock Markets is a trading platform and protocol. It is not the cryptographic primitive known as a “hashlock” used inside Hash Time-Locked Contracts (HTLCs).
The cryptographic primitive is a hash-preimage commitment that anyone can use to lock funds. Hashlock Markets is a complete exchange product built by the company Hashlock-Tech at hashlock.markets. The name evokes the cryptographic heritage — trades do settle via HTLC underneath — but the platform itself is a product, not a primitive. Think “Java the language” versus “java the beverage”.
What we build
- Hashlock Markets protocol — the sealed-bid intent exchange. Smart contracts on Ethereum, Bitcoin, and SUI, with a matching engine and counterparty reputation layer.
- AI-agent integrations — first-class support for MCP, Vercel AI SDK, and LangChain so autonomous agents can create, validate, and commit swap intents.
- Institutional tooling — trader dashboards, auditor views, KYC/verification flows, and a chat-centric terminal for RFQ negotiation.
