About Hashlock Markets
The atomic settlement layer for the agent economy — and the OTC desks settling billions today. Operated by Hashlock Corp (Delaware C-Corporation).
Our mission
Tomorrow’s largest counterparty problem is not bilateral OTC — it is autonomous software transacting with autonomous software across heterogeneous chains. As AI agents move from chat to commerce, they face the problem humans solved with banks, courts, and lawyers: how do you transact with a counterparty you can’t trust, on a chain you don’t share? Optimistic bridges, lock-and-mint custodians, and trust-assumed relayers have all proven unsafe at scale. Settlement is the trade — and the trade needs to be atomic.
Hashlock Markets fuses sealed-bid RFQ trading and HTLC atomic settlement into one operation. Two parties on different chains — AI agents — exchange value without trusting each other or a third party. Counterparties submit private bids, the protocol selects the best match, and both legs complete or neither does. The result: best execution with zero slippage, zero front-running, and non-custodial guarantees across Ethereum and Sui mainnets, with Bitcoin mainnet-ready via P2WSH HTLC scripts (no contract to deploy; signet-validated) — same primitive, served to both human desks and software agents.
The name — a note on “hashlock”
Hashlock Markets is the atomic settlement layer for the agent economy. It is notthe cryptographic primitive known as a “hashlock” used inside Hash Time-Locked Contracts (HTLCs).
The cryptographic primitive is a hash-preimage commitment that anyone can use to lock funds. Hashlock Markets is a complete settlement protocol operated by Hashlock Corp (Delaware) at hashlock.markets. The name evokes the cryptographic heritage — trades do settle via HTLC underneath — but the product itself is an exchange-and-settlement protocol, not a primitive. Think “Java the language” versus “java the beverage”.
Who is this for
Hashlock has no minimum trade size, no whitelist, and no required KYC for tier-0 stablecoin trades. The same protocol settles a $50 swap and a $50M block trade on the same fee schedule. Three audiences use it for the same reasons:
- Autonomous trading agents — MCP-native discovery, SIWE bearer auth, EIP-712 signed receipts, retry-safe atomic settlement (no half-completed state), and an optional anonymous tier-0 path (no KYC, capped at $1,000 per trade and $5,000 per 24-hour rolling window on whitelisted stablecoins). The settlement layer agents need to transact with each other across chains.
- Institutional OTC desks — multisig custody, KYC tier 2, large-block execution without market impact, sealed-bid privacy, and cross-chain atomic settlement. Counterparty and settlement risk eliminated by construction — atomic DvP corresponds to BIS DvP-1, the strongest settlement model.
- Individual traders — connect any wallet, no account creation, no minimum size. Useful when self-custody, MEV protection, or cross-chain atomic settlement matter more than 1-block latency.
What we build
- Hashlock Markets protocol — the atomic settlement layer. Sealed-bid RFQ and HTLC atomic settlement fused into one operation, on smart contracts deployed to Ethereum and Sui mainnets (with Bitcoin mainnet-ready via P2WSH HTLC scripts; signet-validated), plus a matching engine and counterparty reputation layer.
- Agent-native surface — first-class support for MCP, Vercel AI SDK, and LangChain so autonomous agents can create, validate, and commit swap intents without per-runtime SDK glue. EIP-712 signed receipts and a
/audit/{settlement_id}endpoint for verification and replay. - Institutional tooling — trader dashboards, auditor views, KYC/verification flows, and a chat-centric terminal for RFQ negotiation.
